Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items
Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards
Willingness to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends
Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and improve culinary skills
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed in the kitchen setting

Job Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the cooking process
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including countertops, utensils, and cooking equipment
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items using appropriate cleaning methods
Help maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and notify management when stock is low
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
