Job Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Lift, carry, push, or pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance
- Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or related culinary field preferred
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Duties
- Operates ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare foods
- Sets up and breaks down workstations with required tools, equipment, and supplies
- Ensures proper portion, arrangement, and food garnishments are used according to standards
- Prepares and cooks food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist, establishing priority items
- Follows and ensures compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures
- Welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs
- Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
- Contributes to team goals
- Always follows company policies and safety procedures
