Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in retail sales preferred
- Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time
- Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
- Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations preferred
- Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions
- Ability to work in the described physical conditions

Job Duties
- Complies with company guidelines for maximizing sales by ensuring grocery deliveries are accurate, stocked, attractively displayed and priced correctly
- Completes build-tos for ordering and purchasing merchandise
- Maintains inventory by checking in delivery, pricing items, stocking merchandise according to schematic
- Validates deliveries by verifying invoices and reviewing discrepancies with Store Manager
- Prepares displays by assembling, dating and price marking in-store displays
- Rotates food items, monitors quality and freshness
- Monitors and maintains food preparation area and display cases
- Assists training new associates with emphasis on excellent customer service
- Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner
- Greets customers as they enter and thanks them as they leave
- Resolves routine customer concerns within established guidelines
- Prepares and serves quality food and beverage
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
- Cleans floors, windows, counters, displays, store areas and bathrooms
- Picks up and disposes of trash, litter or debris
- Inspects store facilities and equipment for safety and cleanliness
- Cleans, sanitizes and maintains food service equipment
- Attends job-related meetings
- Maintains intradepartmental workflow by fostering cooperation
- Complies with company policies and procedures
- Contributes to team effort
- Performs duties with minimal supervision
- Performs other duties as assigned
