- Serv-Safe certification required

Job Duties
- demonstrates sanitation and food safety practices consistently
- completes daily jobs timely and accurately
- follows company safety standards at all times
- coordinates job duties around other opening team members to help ensure efficient preparation for opening
- cleans and sanitizes work area, equipment and utensils
- safely handles raw food products and ready to serve products, paying close attention to avoid cross contamination
- practices safe allergy awareness
- must be Serv-Safe certified
- stores food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage
- prepares a variety of foods for the day
- keeps records of the quantities of food used and tempering dates
- makes sure all products are labeled and dated correctly
- takes temperatures of required foods and provides documentation on the Quality Control/Safe Food Checklist
- puts food in the kitchen prior to opening
- completes duties by 10:00 am so the restaurant is ready to open
- reports problems with any products to the opening manager
- completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the manager on duty
