Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with the knowledge, skill, and or ability required
- pallet jack operation
- operate 26-foot box truck with air brakes
- related food service or warehouse experience preferred
- experience working with volunteers preferred
- demonstrated commitment to mission-oriented work or community service
- ServSafe training required
- valid driver’s license
- DOT medical certificate required

Job Duties
- Help manage the packing, storage, and distribution of fresh, frozen, and dry goods at packing sessions and mobile markets
- direct and assist volunteers
- fulfill community partner needs when picking up at the Dartmouth Y
- receive, organize, and inventory food items from the Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB), Tourtellot, United Way, or other sources
- transport food supplies with pallet jack
- load and unload the FPP truck to transport food to mobile markets
- drive the FPP truck to mobile markets and community events when needed
- assist with FPP facility, truck, and equipment maintenance
- maintain the lower pavilion facility and equipment in a sanitary manner including bins, pallet jacks, cooler, and freezer
- communicate any problems with the truck or other equipment to the FPP Manager or Facilities Director in a timely manner
- complete appropriate paperwork including collecting mobile market records and delivery statistics for reporting monthly to the Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB)
- collect and complete paperwork to track food donations and distribution, volunteer hours
