Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalency credential
  • experience working or volunteering in a food pantry preferred but not required
  • good communication and customer service skills
  • general office skills
  • successful completion of a criminal record check
  • reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for community travel
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • present a professional and positive image as a representative of CAPBM

Job Duties

  • manage the food pantry including preparing and distributing food to community members
  • maintain organization of the food pantry including stocking shelves and organizing inventory
  • unload and put away food from USDA and other donations with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • assist in general office functions related to the food pantry such as paperwork filing and cleaning
  • support positive participant experience and overall success of the Area Resource Center
