Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Proof of insurance
  • Willingness to obtain a Class E driver’s license within 6 months
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to push carts and climb ladders
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Empathy and ability to remain calm under stress
  • Basic computer skills
  • Vaccination or weekly testing required for safety

Job Duties

  • Pick up and deliver donations throughout the St. Louis area
  • Load, unload, and stock food items in the pantry, refrigerators, and freezers
  • Assist clients in selecting pantry items and provide delivery when needed
  • Interview clients to assess needs and connect them to resources
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and database records
  • Work with volunteers to support pantry operations
  • Keep pantry and storage areas clean and organized
  • Safely operate and maintain agency vehicles and equipment
  • Support fundraising, outreach, and community awareness activities
