  • Supervises the activities of inmates in preparation and serving of meals for population and staff
  • Trains inmates in all kitchen policies and procedures
  • Maintains high standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality
  • Ensures food service operations are cost-efficient
  • Operates and repairs food service equipment as needed
