Job Requirements

  • work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills
  • previous supervisory experience and ability to work collaboratively
  • previous experience in a K-12 environment preferred
  • culinary production experience and strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
  • ability to manage multiple priorities
  • demonstrate professional communication skills
  • passion for high level of customer service
  • prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years of management experience
  • minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
  • strong employee engagement and leadership skills
  • prior supervisory experience
  • professional communication skills
  • culinary production experience
  • strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate flexibility

Job Duties

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations
  • deliver high quality food service
  • provide employee training and development
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships
  • assist in the development and implementation of strategic/operational plans
  • have the ability and willingness to motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly paid staff)
  • ensure Sodexo and National School Lunch (NSLP)/USDA standards are met
