Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum two years management experience in high-volume food service operations preferably in hospital or institutional setting
- minimum two years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants fast food vending catering services institutional services
- strong union management experience
- flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and schedules
- ability to motivate staff and lead change initiatives
- availability to work an 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule with weekend coverage as needed
Job Qualifications

- comfort with technology such as patient meal systems and reporting software
- experience working in hospital or healthcare food service settings preferred
Job Duties
- Manage comprehensive kitchen operations including tray line meal delivery and tray retrieval
- oversee diet office operations ensuring accurate meal ordering and nutritional compliance
- interact with Patient Experience Managers to maintain high patient satisfaction
- oversee union frontline staff including payroll and scheduling
- lead change management initiatives to implement new operational processes
- develop and maintain effective relationships with nursing teams and interdisciplinary staff
- manage operational administrative functions including payroll and reporting software
