Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
  • union management experience required
  • ability to work primarily day shifts with flexibility as needed including every other weekend
  • strong organizational skills
  • effective communication skills
  • passion for guest experience

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the East Pavilion Café and Micro-Market
  • lead, mentor, and support a team of 40 union employees
  • drive guest satisfaction and maintain high standards of food quality and safety
  • ensure compliance with Sodexo, hospital, and regulatory standards
  • partner with culinary and retail teams to enhance menu variety and service efficiency
  • maintain strong financial performance and control operating costs
