The Food Operations Director at Aramark plays a pivotal role in the successful management and oversight of dining operations. This leadership position is responsible for designing and implementing meal solutions that meet the diverse dietary preferences and restrictions of customers while overseeing the execution of food services in a way that aligns with company standards and client expectations. In this role, the Food Operations Director will lead and inspire a team through recruitment, training, evaluation, and coaching, creating a workplace culture that values contribution and recognizes excellence. The director will also manage financial elements including budgeting, cost control, and profit and loss oversight to optimize revenue growth. Operational efficiency is paramount, with an emphasis on streamlining processes in line with Aramark's labor and culinary initiatives. - 1-3 years of experience leading teams
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable hands-on experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to create and sustain positive client and customer relations
- Ability to handle intermittent manual labor involving items up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing for prolonged periods
