Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food service management or equivalent
  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration or equivalent preferred
  • state required certifications or ability to obtain upon hire
  • ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • work with minimal supervision
  • maintain positive work environment through effective communication
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks associated with food service
  • occasional exposure to hot equipment and warm temperatures

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or equivalent preferred
  • minimum of 5 years’ experience in food service management or equivalent
  • state required certifications or ability to obtain upon hire
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • creative thinking for marketing and community engagement
  • ability to handle budgets and revenue optimization
  • experience with inventory management
  • proficiency in reservation systems is a plus
  • food photography skills are a bonus

Job Duties

  • Manage team members to ensure spectacular customer service
  • handle payments and cash transactions accurately
  • observe and manage food and labor budgets
  • assess all on-site dining outlets' performance regularly
  • develop and assist with marketing strategies to promote food services
  • assist with menu design and plate presentation
  • hire, train, and schedule food staff members
  • ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
  • monitor compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all food and beverage equipment and facilities
  • monitor purchasing and inventory for proper quantity and quality
  • complete required reports timely
  • collaborate with camp-resort team and home office departments
  • coordinate and oversee various projects from start to finish
  • respond to guest inquiries using service recovery guidelines
  • utilize and learn reservation system for daily planning
  • participate in projects and activities as assigned
