- Experience as a cook or in a related role required
- validated knowledge of food preparation principles and food safety regulations
- ability to acquire food safety certification
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing
- good interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook a selection of foods based on production guidelines and standardized recipes
- establish the work area with all needed tools and ingredients
- measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items for cooking
- ensure the safe use of utensils including knives
- operate kitchen tools such as ovens, stovetops, cutting appliances, blenders
- apply cooking techniques including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
- order, garnish, and allocate food according to established rules
- store food in compliance with safety regulations
- clean and sterilize work environments, equipment, and tools
- maintain customer service excellence and a welcoming attitude
- adhere to Aramark’s safety policies and food sanitation standards
- preserve the confidentiality of company belongings
