Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and handling practices
  • ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • capacity to stand for long periods and work in a vigorous environment
  • strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines accurately
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepares all the food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • follows recipes, controls, portion, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
  • assumes 100% responsibility for quality of the products that is served
  • responsible for performing other related duties as assigned by the manager
  • following proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
  • track and report any food waste
  • properly handle, store and rotate all the products
  • prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • responsible for station set-up, breakdown, and all advance prep work
  • following and fulfilling the duties given by management
  • keeping stations clean and well stocked with menu ingredients
  • keeping the kitchen clean and sanitized
  • monitors and oversees food temperatures during hot and cold handling
  • communicates with management product deficiencies, equipment, and safety issues
  • performs any other duties as requested by a member of management
