Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in hospitality management
- Food Manager Certification within 90 days of employment
- Beverage Certification within 90 days of employment
- U.S. work authorization required
- Ability to operate a POS system
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to health and safety regulations
- High level of professionalism
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years of experience in front-of-house, back-of-house operations, or assistant management roles in food and beverage service
- Knowledge of service and food and beverage operations
- Excellent basic math skills
- Ability to operate a POS system
- High level of professionalism
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to develop and train staff
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, community-focused environment
Job Duties
- Lead a small team in supporting and servicing day-to-day activities
- Execute well-defined work assignments subject to moderate control and review
- Provide leadership and direction to a small team for daily property operations
- Assist with hiring, firing, discipline, scheduling, payroll, inventory, and other managerial duties
- Schedule labor according to business activity ensuring proper staffing and meeting labor cost objectives
- Develop staff through managerial and professional training
- Oversee employee performance appraisals ensuring timely completion
- Maintain food hall standards in service, cleanliness, and sanitation through employee training and positive environment
- Ensure all public, dock, storage, and bathrooms are clean
- Coordinate with engineering to maintain equipment through tenant relations and preventative maintenance
- Assist with bookings and day-to-day operations of The Bottling Room
- Collaborate in event planning and programming to drive revenue and customer engagement
- Manage the food hall during events
- Provide responsive, friendly, and courteous service to all guests
- Have complete knowledge of the food hall, tenant directory, parking, and surrounding businesses
- Enforce policies and address tenant concerns with the General Manager
- Comply with health, safety, and labor regulations
- Prepare required paperwork including forms, reports, and schedules
- Advise General Manager and Assistant General Manager as needed
