Job Requirements

  • Meet state and local requirements for Food Handler's certification
  • Obtain certification by the first day or as required by location
  • Previous food service experience preferred
  • Flexible availability for varied work schedules
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Physical ability to bend, twist, reach at various heights
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Provide prompt service with urgency
  • Willingness to have fun and contribute to team morale

Job Qualifications

  • Food Handler's certification as required by state and local laws
  • Previous experience in a food service environment preferred
  • Ability to work varied schedules including nights and weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach shelves
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds
  • Strong sense of urgency and guest service focus
  • Positive attitude and team spirit

Job Duties

  • Verify tickets to food orders to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Record and communicate ticket times to maintain efficient kitchen and service flow
  • Consult management on allergy or special orders for guest safety
  • Portion salsas and proper food prep according to prep sheets
  • Set up, maintain, and break down stations according to shift guidelines
  • Ensure kitchen and stations are clean, organized and equipment detailed
  • Prepare chips and dips in order of tickets to guarantee freshness
