Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license for car and scooter delivery
- Provide Social Security Number for background check
- State-issued ID for car, scooter, and bike delivery
- At least 19 years old for car and scooter delivery
- At least 18 years old for bike delivery
- At least a 2-door vehicle for car delivery
- Access to a vehicle compliant with city regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior delivery or customer service experience beneficial
- Familiarity with using smartphone apps for navigation and communication
- Ability to handle physical activity associated with deliveries
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Must be comfortable driving or biking in city traffic
Job Duties
- Pick up items to be delivered from restaurants or stores
- Transport items safely and efficiently to customers
- Use the Postmates and Uber apps to receive and manage delivery requests
- Communicate effectively with customers and support teams
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including contactless delivery protocols
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during deliveries
- Manage earnings and cash out using the app
