Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and stock items up to 50 lbs
  • Previous experience in retail or food production preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely and efficiently
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Current enrollment or willingness to participate in training programs
  • For internal transfers, recommendation from current leader and HR approval
  • Rehire candidates must be approved by HRBP

Job Qualifications

  • Experience leading and supervising a team in a fast-paced retail or food production environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of merchandising standards and inventory management
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food production
  • Basic computer skills and ability to handle ordering systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven ability to motivate and hold team members accountable
  • Ability to manage labor and control operational costs
  • Commitment to teamwork and community-focused service

Job Duties

  • Lead others within the Tortilleria department, setting goals and objectives, acknowledging member performance and holding team members accountable for meeting team and individual member performance goals
  • Communicate directly with the store director and bakery specialist
  • Order supplies and products to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Produce and merchandise goods in accordance with merchandising standards
  • Execute and support all sales and merchandising initiatives
  • Achieve department sales and profit goals, controlling labor, inventory, product out of stocks, shrink, sanitation, supplies, equipment, safety, scheduling, and training
  • Ensure department and team compliance with all health department and weights and measures requirements
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned
