Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and stock items up to 50 lbs
- Previous experience in retail or food production preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely and efficiently
- Availability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Current enrollment or willingness to participate in training programs
- For internal transfers, recommendation from current leader and HR approval
- Rehire candidates must be approved by HRBP
Job Qualifications
- Experience leading and supervising a team in a fast-paced retail or food production environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service
- Knowledge of merchandising standards and inventory management
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food production
- Basic computer skills and ability to handle ordering systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven ability to motivate and hold team members accountable
- Ability to manage labor and control operational costs
- Commitment to teamwork and community-focused service
Job Duties
- Lead others within the Tortilleria department, setting goals and objectives, acknowledging member performance and holding team members accountable for meeting team and individual member performance goals
- Communicate directly with the store director and bakery specialist
- Order supplies and products to maintain adequate stock levels
- Produce and merchandise goods in accordance with merchandising standards
- Execute and support all sales and merchandising initiatives
- Achieve department sales and profit goals, controlling labor, inventory, product out of stocks, shrink, sanitation, supplies, equipment, safety, scheduling, and training
- Ensure department and team compliance with all health department and weights and measures requirements
- Perform all other related duties as assigned
