Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform baking duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous baking experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

- Attention to detail and accuracy in baking and merchandising
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Mixing, weighing, proofing, baking, frying, decorating, finishing and merchandising quality bakery products using Bashas' recipes
- Loading and unloading ovens, knowing proper temperatures and durations for baking various products
- Scaling cakes, cupcakes, sweet rolls, breads, and cookies
- Assisting in ordering and receiving bakery products and supplies
- Controlling product inventory, out of stocks, shrink and supplies
- Using scale printer machine to ensure correct weights and pricing
- Monitoring product pricing, signage, placement, and use of shelf tags
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly bench, production, storage, and walk-in areas
- Wrapping, boxing, weighing, slicing, finishing and stocking bakery products, rotating them for quality and safety
- Displaying goods following bakery department and merchandising guidelines
- Assisting decorators with cake personalization and icing
- Performing all other related duties as assigned
