Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be 21 years of age for any position serving alcohol
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and stock up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Availability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Endorsement from current leader for internal transfers, promotions, or rehire candidates

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in baking or food production preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic math skills for measuring and scaling ingredients
- Ability to operate bakery equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Team player with good communication skills
Job Duties
- Mixing, weighing, proofing, baking, frying, decorating, finishing and merchandising quality bakery products using Bashas recipes
- Loading and unloading the oven, knowing the proper temperatures and duration to bake all varieties of product
- Scaling cakes and cupcakes, icing sweet rolls, breads and cookies
- Assisting in the ordering and receiving of bakery products and supplies
- Controlling product inventory and out of stocks, shrink and supplies
- Using scale printer machine, ensuring weights and pricing are correct
- Understanding the importance and monitoring of product pricing, signage, and placement including product shelf tags and shelf signage
- Keeping a clean, neat and orderly bench, production area, storage area, and walk-in coolers and freezers
- Helping in wrapping, boxing, weighing, slicing, finishing, and stocking bakery department products, rotating them as necessary to ensure quality and safety
- Displaying goods following bakery department and/or merchandising guidelines
- Helping decorators with personalization of cakes and icing of cakes, donuts, sweet rolls, and other bakery items
- Performing all other related duties as assigned
