Job Requirements

  • flexible availability
  • ability to stand and/or walk up to 8 hours
  • ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds frequently
  • occasionally lift/carry up to 60 pounds
  • push/pull with force up to 20 pounds
  • bend at the waist with twisting up to one hour per shift
  • manual dexterity including grasping, reaching, and manipulating objects

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • management or supervisory experience preferred
  • experience recruiting, interviewing, and hiring staff advantageous
  • strong communication and team leadership skills
  • ability to handle cash and basic bookkeeping
  • problem-solving skills
  • ability to advocate and empathize
  • knowledge of safety and security best practices

Job Duties

  • assist the Store Manager with oversight of stationstore operations
  • help with hiring, supervising, and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks
  • handle bookkeeping and merchandising
  • maintain high standards and provide fast, friendly customer service
  • ensure regular and predictable onsite attendance
  • execute the company’s food program standards
  • set an example for staff with leadership, urgency, and patience
