Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- four to six years of related experience or training
- knowledge of hospitality POS systems
- experience in food and beverage operations
- strong leadership and human relations skills
- exceptional verbal and written communication
- professional appearance and demeanor
- ability to maintain reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of hospitality POS system applications, hardware, software, and menu programming
- experience in multi-faceted Food and Beverage operations
- strong leadership skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- professional appearance and demeanor
- ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Job Duties
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates
- address complaints and resolve problems
- assist in the management of department members including servers, greeters, runners, bartenders
- assist with budget monitoring for Food and Beverage areas
- review current day’s business levels in dining room/bar operations and assign priorities
- relay pertinent information to key staff including Sous Chef, Bar Supervisors, Executive Offices, Concierge, and Membership Office
- assist Food and Beverage Director in monitoring success of dining room and bar and conduct semi-annual performance reviews
- conduct regular staff meetings
- ensure effective orientation and training for new associates and develop ongoing training programs
- responsible for ordering, receiving, and inventory control
- create cocktail lists with bar staff including costing and promoting drink features
- work with Sous Chef on menu promotions and educate staff for marketing
- maintain regular and reliable attendance
