Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • six months to one year of related experience and/or training
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to read and speak English
  • must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
  • physical ability to frequently stand, walk, talk or hear
  • ability to occasionally sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • ability to regularly taste or smell
  • ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work in wet or humid non-weather conditions
  • ability to work outdoors in varying weather

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily functions of food and beverage operations
  • dedicate majority of time to management and supervisory duties
  • regularly walk dining room floor to interact with guests
  • set and implement schedules for food and beverage outlets
  • supervise inventories and maintain par levels
  • maintain communication with General Manager and other department leaders
  • inspect facilities for maintenance and cleanliness
  • complete production reports and control supply distribution
  • adopt best practices including inventory management software
  • administer menu design and pricing
  • ensure sanitation standards
  • coordinate menu planning with Executive Chef
  • develop relationships with preferred suppliers
  • interview, hire, train, assign, and direct work of associates
  • manage department members including snack bar, beverage cart, bartenders, servers, food runners, bus persons
  • provide orientation and ongoing training
  • monitor business volume and plan manpower and costs
  • ensure regular and reliable attendance
  • incorporate safe work practices
