Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months to one year of related experience or training
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, talk, and hear
  • Ability to occasionally sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in wet, humid, and outdoor weather conditions
  • Meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
  • Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness Training
  • Ability to read and speak English essential
  • Regular and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in food and beverage management preferred
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and regional cuisines
  • Ability to resolve issues with tact and diplomacy
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience with inventory software
  • Commitment to company values
  • Understanding of food and beverage controls
  • Ability to create high-performance teams

Job Duties

  • Manage daily food and beverage operations
  • Walk dining rooms to interact with members and guests
  • Supervise inventory and maintain par levels
  • Communicate with department leaders to meet operational goals
  • Inspect facilities for maintenance and cleanliness
  • Complete reports and manage requisitions
  • Administer menu design, pricing, and ordering
  • Ensure sanitation standards
  • Coordinate menu planning with Executive Chef
  • Develop relationships with preferred suppliers
  • Interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff
  • Manage department personnel including supervisors and servers
  • Develop ongoing training programs
  • Monitor business volume and adjust manpower accordingly
  • Incorporate safe work practices
