Job Requirements

  • six months of fast food production or kitchen food production experience
  • willingness to comply with hospital policies and procedures
  • regular, punctual attendance in accordance with Orlando Health policies and legal standards

Job Duties

  • Assist with tray assembly, preparation of special diet needs including puree meals and supplements, know basic food preparation techniques including receiving, storing, preparation, and holding of food items, demonstrate a working knowledge of food service sanitation and infection control procedures including HACCP guidelines, communicate effectively with the Executive Chef, Food and Nutrition Supervisor, Group Leaders, and food service team peers, show a willingness to assist in other areas of the kitchen such as cold prep, bakery, storeroom, café serving line, dish room, or tray line, comply with hospital standards, policies, and procedures
