Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in institutional management, dietetics, or equivalent
  • minimum three years progressive experience in healthcare foodservice management or CDM certification with five years supervisory experience
  • ability to work in a diverse, collaborative, and team-oriented culture
  • strong analytical and organizational skills
  • effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate tasks
  • willingness to adhere to Trinity Health policies and procedures
  • physical ability to work in food service conditions such as noise, heat, and humidity

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in institutional management, dietetics, or related field
  • minimum of three years progressive healthcare foodservice management experience or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification with at least five years supervisory experience
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • excellent organizational, planning, delegation, and coaching abilities
  • demonstrated ability to analyze data, audit processes, and implement improvements
  • ability to foster teamwork and motivate staff

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily operations of assigned Food and Nutrition Services areas
  • coordinate standardization of operating procedures for expense management and operations
  • assist in developing and managing program budgets
  • monitor financial objectives and report budget variances
  • lead performance improvement initiatives and quality evaluations
  • hire, train, counsel, appraise, and discipline staff
  • conduct meetings and ensure timely completion of HR processes
  • manage catering and retail operations including pricing, cash handling, and vendor compliance
  • ensure food safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
  • maintain accurate records and documentation
  • manage multiple projects and adapt to fast-paced environment
