Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food or patient service is preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly with diverse groups
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutrition care plans
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Capability to lift and carry meal trays safely
- Adherence to infection control and facility policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in patient service or food service preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
- Knowledge of nutrition care and meal service protocols
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
- Capability to perform minor food preparation tasks
Job Duties
- Prepare, deliver and pick up patient meal trays
- Assist patients with meal selections in accordance with nutrition care orders
- Communicate patient food preferences to the food service department
- Collaborate with patient care teams for patients in isolation or those unable to complete menus
- Perform minor food preparation and portioning tasks
- Transport patient trays following facility procedures
- Deliver therapeutic nourishment to patients
