Job Requirements

  • Completed education or degree in hospitality, gastronomy, or equivalent
  • Minimum five years experience in a leadership role within food and beverage
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • High service orientation
  • Knowledge in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
  • Experience in staff scheduling and vacation planning
  • Analytical thinking and ability to evaluate performance metrics
  • Flexibility for shift work
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Proactive and solution-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in dynamic environments

Job Qualifications

  • Completed education or degree in hospitality, gastronomy, or equivalent
  • Minimum five years experience in a leadership role within food and beverage, preferably in an international hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience managing teams
  • High service orientation and passion for excellent guest relations
  • Sound knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
  • Proficient in staff scheduling and vacation planning considering legal regulations
  • Analytical mindset with ability to evaluate key performance indicators and implement measures
  • Flexibility and willingness to work shifts
  • Excellent German and English communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, experience with hotel management systems preferred
  • Proactive and solution-oriented work approach with ability to prioritize in a dynamic setting

Job Duties

  • Manage the operational areas of Mountain Hub Social Dining & Terrace, Nightflight Bar & Terrace, Room Service, Thai Lounge, and Conference & Events service
  • Oversee offerings, pricing, planning, and execution of restaurant, bar, promotional, and catering offers
  • Plan food promotions and seasonal offers to sustain and expand market leadership
  • Actively participate in menu engineering and review existing menus based on guest needs
  • Ensure compliance with waste disposal and recycling regulations throughout the F&B department
  • Monitor monthly inventories and prepare evaluations
  • Apply Hilton purchasing agreements to secure the best quality at the lowest price
  • Implement and exemplify Hilton standards in daily operations
  • Participate in Hilton initiatives and leadership communication meetings
  • Monitor hotel performance ratings, analyze results, develop action plans for improvements
  • Coordinate scheduling and vacation planning with consideration for operational needs and legal requirements
  • Foster collaboration and regular communication across all departments and with the Director of Food & Drinks
  • Set and communicate clear SMART goals for the department
  • Support smooth daily operations with a willingness for flexible shifts
