Job Requirements
- Two years of college
- Or one year of retail experience and one year of supervisory experience
- Or two years of general work experience and one year supervisory experience
- Successful completion of firearms-specific criminal background check and firearms authorized training if applicable
- Attendance and successful completion of all required training and assessments
- Compliance with company policies and drug-free workplace standards
- Ability to support store operations and business goals
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership preferred
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership preferred
- Experience supervising five or more direct reports
- Proven ability in performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated leadership in customer service and store operations
- Ability to analyze financial statements and implement business solutions
Job Duties
- Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching and training associates
- Provides feedback and tours stores to ensure operational excellence
- Communicates and collaborates with associates at all levels regarding store operations and business initiatives
- Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards and manages customer service initiatives
- Drives financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements and managing budgets
- Oversees merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes
- Recruits, trains, mentors, and recognizes hourly associates fostering a culture of belonging
- Ensures compliance with company policies, ethics, and supports the company's mission and values
- Builds high-performing teams and maintains strong stakeholder relationships
- Promotes continuous learning and adaptability within the store environment
