Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or general education degree
  • must be at least 21 years old
  • ability to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol
  • regular and reliable attendance
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to drive beverage cart and stand for extended periods
  • ability to handle cash transactions responsibly

  • basic understanding of food safety and sanitation
  • prior experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • always maintain a professional appearance
  • drive the beverage cart to different areas on the golf course to service guests
  • maintain a supply of all bar products and supplies, including glassware and expendable paper
  • stock beverage carts to par levels each day of use
  • assure compliance with all laws applicable to beverage operations
  • operate point of sale systems including Jonas and process guest member and credit card charges
  • learn the names of regular customers and personally recognize them
  • monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to ensure best customer service
  • inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory
  • prepare garnishes, mix and pre-mix drinks
  • perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned
  • communicate effectively with peers, management, and front and back of house employees
  • ensure timely, friendly, and professional customer greetings
  • assist in food preparation and tend bar as needed
  • demonstrate responsible cash handling skills
  • prepare, cook, and serve food menu options
  • follow safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • maintain a clean kitchen environment including cleaning fryers and flat tops
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
