Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be able to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Always maintain a professional appearance
  • Drive the beverage cart to different areas on the golf course to service guests
  • Maintains a supply of all bar products/supplies, including all glassware, expendable paper, and other supplies
  • Stock beverage carts to par levels each day of use
  • Assures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed
  • Operate Jonas, guest member charges, and credit card charges according to procedure
  • Learn the names of regulars and personally recognize them
  • Monitor guest experience and take appropriate action to ensure the best customer service
  • Inspects the bar before opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available
  • Prepares garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks
  • Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned
  • Communicate effectively with peers, management, line and front-of-the-house employees
  • Ensure that all customers are greeted in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
  • Assist in food preparation and tend bar as needed
  • Demonstrating responsible cash-handling skills
  • Prepares, cooks, and serves food menu options
  • Prior cooking experience is not required
  • Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Maintaining a clean kitchen environment, including cleaning of fryer and flattop
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
