Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience
  • Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations
  • Actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments
  • Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, and align team on the right behaviors and execution
  • Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement including merchandising, pricing, merchandise displays, sampling and promotions
  • Lead a guest-focused, efficient Food & Beverage team that completes the Food & Beverage Daily Standards walk
  • Assess backroom and sales floor areas of Food & Beverage and Food Service daily by walking the Target Food & Beverage Standards
  • Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable
  • Partner with store leadership through communication and collaboration to influence sales performance and workload
  • Maintain a fresh, full and food safe area leveraging inventory management, area routines and Food Safety policies
  • Assign daily tasks to team members based on workload and guest traffic patterns ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Validate and follow-up on team members’ progress against assigned tasks and routines
  • Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices and close skill gaps through development, coaching and training
  • Lead team huddles to communicate focuses and trends leveraging store and HQ reporting
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with vendors to ensure expectations and brand standards are met and areas are in-stock
  • Remain up-to-date on relevant trends and products to educate team members
  • Support hiring and onboarding of new team members
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive-up maintaining compliance
  • Become a subject matter expert in federal, state and local adult beverage laws to protect liquor license
  • Lead team to uphold Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards and foster partnership with district managers (if applicable)
  • Complete all required training and certifications including Food Safety Manager Certification
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling, recognizing safe behaviors and reporting injuries
  • Model the execution of physical security processes to enhance security culture
  • Support merchandise protection strategies
  • Demonstrate inclusivity and create equitable experiences
  • Follow safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier
  • Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty responsibilities
  • Address all emergency and compliance requirements
  • Perform all other duties as required based on business needs
