Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Age 18 or older
  • Previous retail and/or food experience preferred but not required
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business
  • Ability to lead and hold others accountable
  • Communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
  • Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
  • Effective communication skills
  • Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
  • Interpret instructions, reports and information
  • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
  • Climb up and down ladders as needed
  • Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including frequently lifting up to 44 pounds
  • Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in environments ranging from 34F to -10F
  • Ability to work where common allergens may be present
  • Capable of working in varying temperatures, humidity and elements
  • Ability to remain mobile for duration of scheduled shift

Job Duties

  • Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including merchandising, pricing, changes to salesfloor merchandise displays, sampling and promotions
  • Assess backroom and sales floor areas daily by walking the Target Food & Beverage Standards and prioritize workload tasks
  • Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable
  • Maintain a fresh, full and food safe area during operating hours leveraging inventory management and food safety policies
  • Deliver the Food & Beverage Standards
  • Validate and follow-up on team members' progress against assigned tasks and best practices
  • Work schedule aligned to guest and business needs including early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekends
  • Assign daily tasks based on workload and guest traffic patterns
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with vendors ensuring brand standards
  • Foster productive relationships with Starbucks district manager and attend planning and business meetings
  • Ensure product availability by placing store-initiated orders with vendors
  • Support hiring and onboarding of new team members
  • Become a subject matter expert in adult beverage laws and protect the store's liquor license
  • Lead team to uphold Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards
  • Complete all Starbucks and/or Pizza Hut training requirements or certifications
  • Fulfill key carrying responsibilities and follow safe and secure processes
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up while maintaining compliance
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
  • Lead and demonstrate safety culture by modeling safe behaviors and reporting injuries
  • Model execution of physical security processes
  • Support merchandise protection strategies
  • Demonstrate inclusivity and create equitable experiences
  • Lead and demonstrate execution of best practices and help close skill gaps
  • Address store emergency and compliance needs
  • Model welcoming experience by greeting guests and engaging with them
  • All other duties based on business needs
