Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail and/or food experience preferred
- Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable
- Communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
- Effective communication skills

- Interpret instructions, reports and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds

- Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer conditions
- Capability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and elements
- Ability to remain mobile during scheduled shifts

Job Duties
- Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience
- Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations
- Actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments
- Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, and align team on the right behaviors and execution
- Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including merchandising, pricing, changes to salesfloor merchandise displays, sampling and promotions
- Lead a guest-focused, efficient Food & Beverage team that strives to deliver the Food & Beverage standards by completing the Food & Beverage Daily Standards walk
- Assess backroom and sales floor areas, prioritize business needs, and identify workload tasks for the team
- Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable
- Communicate and collaborate with store leadership to influence sales performance and workload deliverables
- Maintain a fresh, full and food safe area during all operating hours
- Assign daily tasks based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns
- Validate and follow-up on team members’ progress against assigned tasks
- Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing best practices
- Lead team huddles to communicate focuses and trends
- Develop and maintain partnerships with vendors to ensure brand standards are met and areas are reliably in-stock
- Support hiring and onboarding of new team members
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up and Drive-up
- Be a subject matter expert in federal, state and local adult beverage laws (if applicable)
- Lead team to uphold and maintain all Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards (if applicable)
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling safe behaviors and reporting/investigating injuries
- Model physical security processes
- Support merchandise protection strategies
- Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and creating equitable experiences
- Follow all safe and secure training as a key carrier
- Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty responsibilities
- Address all store emergency and compliance requirements
- Perform all other duties as needed based on business needs
