Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail and/or food experience preferred but not required
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business
  • Ability to lead and hold others accountable
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
  • Able to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
  • Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
  • Must be capable of accessing all areas of the building
  • Able to interpret instructions, reports, and information accurately
  • Ability to handle cash register operations as needed
  • Must be able to climb ladders
  • Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
  • Must have a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures
  • Capable of working with exposure to varying temperatures and humidity
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
  • Reliable and prompt attendance essential.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience
  • Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations
  • Actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments
  • Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, and align team on the right behaviors and execution
  • Understand sales goals, plan and execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement
  • Lead a guest-focused, efficient Food & Beverage team that strives to deliver the Food & Beverage standards
  • Assess backroom and sales floor areas of Food & Beverage and Food Service daily, prioritize workload tasks, and review business trends for follow-up
  • Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable
  • Partner with store leadership through communication and collaboration to influence sales performance and workload deliverables
  • Maintain a fresh, full and food-safe area during operating hours leveraging strong inventory management and food safety policies
  • Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns
  • Validate and follow-up on team members’ progress against assigned workload tasks and best practices
  • Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices, helping close skill gaps through development, coaching, and training
  • Lead team huddles to communicate focuses and trends, leveraging reporting and communications
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with vendors to meet brand standards and ensure product availability
  • Remain up-to-date on relevant trends and products
  • Support hiring and onboarding of new team members
  • Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up while maintaining compliance with laws
  • Become a subject matter expert in applicable adult beverage laws
  • Uphold Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards if applicable
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
  • Lead safety efforts and model physical security processes
  • Support merchandise protection strategies
  • Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and creating equitable experiences
  • Follow all safe and secure training and processes
  • Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty responsibilities
  • Address store emergency and compliance requirements
  • Perform all other duties as business needs arise.
