Job Requirements
- food handler's certificate (to be supplied by employer)
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- experience in food and drink preparation and service
- strong guest service skills
- ability to work efficiently under pressure
- adherence to dress code and professional appearance guidelines
- punctuality and reliability
- part-time availability for approximately 10-25 hours per week
- membership or willingness to become a member of Gateway Church
Job Qualifications
- experience in cafe or food service environment
- proficiency in espresso drink preparation
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- capable of mentoring or leading volunteers
- knowledge of health and safety regulations
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- valid Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain
Job Duties
- assist in all cafe operations including front and back of house
- prepare quality espresso drinks efficiently
- restock inventory and maintain equipment
- clean cafe area and adhere to health and safety standards
- mentor volunteers and provide training
- deliver exceptional guest service with strong communication
- operate point-of-sale systems accurately
