Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisor experience in food and beverage highly preferred
- TIPs Certification
- Food Handler Certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds routinely
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Proficient in English reading and writing
- Physical stamina to perform duties
- Self motivated
- Ability to work with limited supervision
Job Qualifications
- Previous supervisor experience in food and beverage highly preferred
- Must be knowledgeable of wines, beer and liquor
- Must have TIPs Certification
- Must have Food Handler Certification
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to work long hours/shifts
- Able to read and write English proficiently
- Able to lift and carry 20 pounds routinely, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Able to walk, sit, stand, squat, reach, and lean in the course of daily business
- Able to carry and balance oval and cocktail trays
- Able to push purchasing carts for a distance
- Self motivated, and ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays, and AM and PM shifts
Job Duties
- Assist in overall supervision of all outlets within the food and beverage department
- Have full knowledge of all menus and beverage menus
- Have full knowledge of responsible alcohol service
- Proper setup and breakdown of area and service station
- Provide the highest quality guest interactions - be pleasant, friendly and polite to everyone
- Provide cocktail service throughout all outlets
- Multi-task several guests and duties at once, maintaining the highest levels of service
- Take food and beverage orders from guests
- Enter in orders to the computer ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage walk-up and seated guests appropriately
- Prepare beverages for servers from printed tickets
- Follow service standards and best practices at all times
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork with internal associates
- Responsible for assigned shift, assisting in overall management
- Demonstrate full working knowledge of POS system
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Be pleasant, smile, and greet all guests, using guest names when obtained
- Check staff punctuality
- Must have sense of urgency throughout entire shift
- Handle guest comments and complaints
- Stay on the floor during operating hours
- Communicate with guests and receive feedback
- Observe, teach, and correct associates' service
- Maintain condition of outlets
- Assist manager with schedule, forecast, payroll, email, Kronos, Medallia, MOS
- Perform any other duties assigned by management
