Job Requirements
- Working towards a high school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years of hands-on food and beverage experience
- Knowledge of food and beverage practices and procedures
- Experienced with operating a POS system preferred
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Experience following sanitation and safety procedures including OSHA guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
- Must follow oral and written instructions effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must have or obtain a current food handler's license
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Culinary and facilities operations knowledge
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Oversee the development and implementation of food and beverage training programs, policies, and procedures
- Give daily directions and organize food and beverage staff
- Coach employees by setting goals and recognizing achievements
- Prepare food safely according to standard operating procedures
- Oversee food and beverage operations during events to ensure client satisfaction
- Inspect food service facilities to comply with health laws and regulations
- Create employee schedules and maintain proper kitchen flow
