Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Prior micros or other systems experience
  • One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations
  • Luxury hotel experience, a plus
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Availability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods during a shift

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of experience in food and beverage operations
  • Prior experience with micros or other POS systems
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Experience working in a luxury hotel environment preferred
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities

Job Duties

  • Train new staff and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure sufficient stock levels while minimizing waste
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Assist management with scheduling, labor controls, and other administrative duties
  • Assist the Department Manager in the development, implementation and maintenance of service standards
  • Ensure food and beverages are being served in a professional and timely manner
  • Monitor set up and maintenance of department to ensure all side work is complete
  • Interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience
  • Deliver on guests' expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs
