Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of experience in a similar hospitality role
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Capability to perform physical tasks including lifting 20-40 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Availability to work in a dynamic restaurant environment
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and operational standards
- Ability to work varied hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Experience of one to two full years in a related position within the hospitality industry
- Advanced knowledge of food and beverage management principles and practices
- Excellent oral communication skills for interacting with guests and associates
- Strong comprehension skills for interpreting instructions and resolving guest and associate matters
- Excellent vision for observing dining areas, expediting food, and maintaining operational oversight
Job Duties
- Monitor servers, runners, and other restaurant associates and ensure adherence to all service standards and SOPs, including inspecting staff for correct, clean, complete uniform, clean polished shoes, name tag and general appearance standards
- Supervise service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service
- Assist manager to establish and monitor side-work duty completion
- Maintain bank to SOP, keep it balanced and secure at all times
- Read daily communication sheets from previous shift and prepare one for the following shift
- Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up
- Check service stands and aisle areas
- Check tables for cleanliness and proper set up
- Communicate daily with restaurant manager with regard to special events, house counts, etc
- Assist restaurant managers in conducting menu classes and taste panels
