Job Duties
- Responsible for prompt, courteous service to restaurant guests serving food and beverage
- train and supervise restaurant staff
- handle paperwork and other administrative duties
- uphold company and brand standards, policies and procedures and hold staff accountable
- organize and prioritize work assignments and delegate work to appropriate staff members
- direct service on the floor reflecting the culture of the hotel and brand
- track and maintain levels of supplies and equipment, forecast needs, assist with ordering
- maintain applicable safety programs for the restaurant, employees and guests
- ensure employee appearance reflects company image
- influence team to embrace and reflect core values
- possess complete knowledge of hospitality and brand standards
- ensure compliance with cash handling and operation of point-of-sale system
- display and teach professional service techniques
- ensure clean, safe and orderly work areas
- ensure cashier functions, shift status forms and cover counts are performed correctly
- complete food and beverage and storeroom requisitions
- address food, beverage and employee needs, comments and concerns
- communicate on financial performance, inventory, and personnel
