Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of restaurant supervisory experience
  • Experience with banquet supervision preferred
  • Computer proficiency with Micro Symphony and Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proven leadership abilities
  • Experience managing schedules and resolving issues
  • Knowledge of cost controls and cash handling
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Open availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexible to cover holiday shifts
  • Positive attitude and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant supervisory experience
  • Experience supervising banquets preferred
  • Experience working in a hotel or free-standing restaurant helpful
  • Proficient with Micro Symphony, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Experience creating weekly schedules
  • Managerial experience resolving guest and employee issues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of cost controls and cash handling
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Tips and SERV Safe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead food service team in dining area, handling hiring, scheduling, training, guiding, and evaluating
  • Manage front-of-house food and beverage operations, including coordinating events and following established procedures
  • Participate, assist, and contribute to annual special events such as Mother's Day and Easter, servicing over 1000 guests per event
  • Establish and ensure compliance with bi-annual inventory controls
  • Ensure state and local sanitation codes are followed
  • Maintain positive attitude and create excellent first impressions
  • Record all charges correctly in POS system and balance at close of shift
  • Complete all side work at end of shift
