Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years of employment in the food and beverage industry
  • prior restaurant experience is a must
  • prior bartending experience is a must
  • prior hotel experience is a plus
  • highly organized and detail-oriented

Job Duties

  • assist in supervising restaurant staff
  • organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings
  • schedule and direct staff work assignments
  • evaluate team members to ensure service standards
  • interact with customers and promote hotel services
  • resolve customer issues and coordinate reservations
  • organize special restaurant events
  • maintain interdepartmental rapport and attend meetings
  • monitor food quality and service actions
  • verify food temperatures and check preparation methods
  • guide improvements and consistency
  • maintain outlet profitability and control costs
  • manage inventory and stock supplies
  • evaluate cost effectiveness and implement profit measures
  • use computer systems for billing, forecasting, and payroll
  • adjust staff assignments during functions
