Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food and beverage service or related hospitality role
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to resolve guest issues professionally
  • Availability to work full-time in person

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service or hospitality supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints effectively
  • Familiarity with inventory management and cash handling procedures

Job Duties

  • Assist with training, coaching, mentoring and scheduling
  • Support employees in the restaurant and room service to ensure guests are receiving attentive and efficient service
  • Proactively engage in conversation with guests, seeking feedback about their stay and their dining experience
  • Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues or complaints to their satisfaction
  • Monitor all food and beverage deliveries for portion control, quality and presentation
  • Ensure that food handling and safety guidelines are followed, including kitchen logs
  • Monitor key control and cash control procedures to ensure standards of operating are met
  • Oversee inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items
  • Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments
