Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience in food service industry
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to obtain State and Sac & Fox liquor licenses
- Ability to pass background check
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional appearance
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds
- Ability to tolerate high-stress and fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience in food service environment preferably casino setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of food preparation equipment operation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to obtain required State and Sac & Fox liquor licenses
- Ability to pass background checks as per Sac & Fox Gaming Commission
- Knowledge of applicable foodservice regulations and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Supervise the overall daily activities of the Food & Beverage team members ensuring compliance with company and department policies and procedures
- Safeguard company funds and assets maintaining proper accountability
- Ensure compliance with all applicable food and liquor service regulations including internal controls over cash handling, sales recording, inventory management, and food handling
- Maintain high levels of guest service by monitoring and supporting team member performance
- Assist the Director of Food & Beverage in analyzing operational statistics and financial results to achieve budgeted goals and improve profitability
- Establish and maintain effective vendor relationships including product selection, price negotiations, and menu development
- Supervise hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining Food & Beverage staff
- Conduct regular inspections of food preparation methods to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Ensure proper sanitation of beverage preparation areas
- Attend strategic and informational meetings as required
- Enforce safety and health regulations
- Expedite and ensure timely service of food and beverage orders
- Maintain professional communication and appearance at all times
