Job Requirements

High school diploma/GED or the equivalent education, training and experience
Minimum of 3 years restaurant, hotel or senior living experience required
3 years of management experience required
Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer, or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests
Catering experience is a plus
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and stoop for 90 percent of the workday
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years restaurant, hotel or senior living experience required (senior living experience preferred)
3 years of management experience required
Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer, or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests
Catering experience is a plus, not required
Ninety percent (90%) of workday spent standing, walking, bending, squatting, and stooping
Must be able to lift and carry up-to fifty (50) pounds frequently

Job Duties

Supervises the physical appearance of the dining room area and server stations including service isle, table bases, table place settings, chairs, floors, drapes, and lighting
Responsible for the overall dining experience including room service and buffet services to ensure that guests are satisfied
Assists in providing on-the-job training for dining room personnel
Along with on-going training
Coordinates the seating of residents served in an efficient and courteous manner
Schedules stations and work assignments for the wait staff and check out servers to make sure standards are met
Maintains all POS including meal counts, reservations, and additional charges
