Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or the equivalent education, training and experience
- Minimum of 3 years restaurant, hotel or senior living experience required
- 3 years of management experience required
- Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer, or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests
- Catering experience is a plus
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and stoop for 90 percent of the workday
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or the equivalent education, training and experience
- Minimum of 3 years restaurant, hotel or senior living experience required (senior living experience preferred)
- 3 years of management experience required
- Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer, or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests
- Catering experience is a plus, not required
- Ninety percent (90%) of workday spent standing, walking, bending, squatting, and stooping
- Must be able to lift and carry up-to fifty (50) pounds frequently
Job Duties
- Supervises the physical appearance of the dining room area and server stations including service isle, table bases, table place settings, chairs, floors, drapes, and lighting
- Responsible for the overall dining experience including room service and buffet services to ensure that guests are satisfied
- Assists in providing on-the-job training for dining room personnel
- Along with on-going training
- Coordinates the seating of residents served in an efficient and courteous manner
- Schedules stations and work assignments for the wait staff and check out servers to make sure standards are met
- Maintains all POS including meal counts, reservations, and additional charges
