Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or the equivalent education, training and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years restaurant, hotel or senior living experience
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Ability to interpret and explain menu items and coordinate meal service
  • Ability to spend 90 percent of workday standing, walking, bending, squatting, and stooping
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or the equivalent education, training and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years restaurant, hotel or senior living experience required (senior living experience preferred)
  • 3 years of management experience required
  • Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer, or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests
  • Catering experience is a plus, not required

Job Duties

  • Supervises the physical appearance of the dining room area and server stations including service isle, table bases, table place settings, chairs, floors, drapes, and lighting
  • Responsible for the overall dining experience including room service and buffet services to ensure that guests are satisfied
  • Assists in providing on-the-job training for dining room personnel along with ongoing training
  • Coordinates the seating of residents served in an efficient and courteous manner
  • Schedules stations and work assignments for the wait staff and check out servers to make sure standards are met
  • Maintains all POS including meal counts, reservations, and additional charges
