Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- associate's degree or bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- previous hospitality experience in a private club atmosphere preferred
- previous supervisor experience preferred
- ability to comply with county health regulations regarding Hepatitis A vaccinations
Job Duties
- Acts as the face of member dining and leads by example including hands-on involvement
- implements budgets and monitors to ensure budget goals are met
- ensures effective orientation and training for new and experienced staff
- inspects safety, sanitation, and maintenance standards
- ensures standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are utilized
- helps plan and approve member marketing activities
- plans and approves staffing, scheduling, and job descriptions
- co-manages long-range staffing needs
- collaborates with peer managers to ensure outstanding member experience
- reviews and gives feedback on menus
- establishes quantity and quality standards for personnel
- ensures legal compliance including wage, hour, and alcohol laws
- researches new products and analyzes cost/profit benefits
- develops and implements standardized policies and procedures
- purchases and receives products and supplies
- greets and oversees service daily
- orders and manages linens, floral, uniforms, and service components
- ensures proper handling to minimize breakage and waste
- addresses member and guest complaints and advises leadership
- promotes club activities in member dining areas
- assists in planning special events and banquets
- maintains cleanliness and upkeep of equipment and facilities
- monitors employee and member dress codes
- closes and reconciles point of sale system daily
- maintains records of special events and daily business volumes
- ensures accurate reservation system
- conducts periodic inventories
- audits and approves timecards bi-weekly
- creates staffing and scheduling procedures and job descriptions
- performs other tasks as assigned by leadership team
