Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage service with 1 year supervisory experience
  • experience in hotel or high-volume restaurant preferred
  • knowledge of food safety health regulations and customer service standards
  • experience with POS systems scheduling software and inventory control
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry trays boxes and supplies
  • availability to work evenings weekends and holidays
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • occasional bending stooping and reaching

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • degree or certification in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • minimum of 2 years experience in food and beverage service with at least 1 year in supervisory role
  • experience in hotel or high-volume restaurant settings preferred
  • knowledge of food safety health regulations and customer service standards
  • experience with POS systems scheduling software and inventory control
  • strong leadership skills with ability to motivate train and develop team

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise food and beverage service staff ensuring efficient and detailed performance
  • manage staff schedules and assignments adapting to service needs
  • train mentor and evaluate staff on service standards company policies and safety protocols
  • provide coaching and feedback identifying improvement areas and offering development
  • maintain positive productive team environment promoting teamwork and professionalism
  • ensure exceptional guest service proactively addressing needs and swiftly resolving complaints
  • regularly gather guest feedback for continuous improvement
  • monitor service flow ensuring timely order processing and delivery
  • oversee food and beverage operations from setup to breakdown ensuring smooth execution
  • ensure service areas are clean organized and stocked before during service
  • collaborate with kitchen and bar to meet guest preferences and dietary requirements
  • ensure food and beverages are served at correct temperature and presentation
  • adjust service flow to accommodate guest volume changes or delays
  • oversee inventory levels ordering and stock management
  • prevent overstocking and minimize waste adhering to budget
  • maintain accurate inventory records
  • ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations
  • conduct routine hygiene checks and maintain equipment
  • coordinate with management and event staff for special events and banquets
  • assist in event preparation and staff training
  • manage on-the-day event logistics ensuring efficient timely service
  • assist in managing costs labor and inventory to ensure profitability
  • monitor waste and enforce portion control
  • support pricing menu and promotion adjustments
  • maintain operational sales and inventory records reporting discrepancies
